The Parents Community Service Network (PCSN) was created to share resources and connect parents who are working on community service projects in their children's schools.  Our members are parents of children in public and private schools throughout New York City and the surrounding area, as well as educators and nonprofit professionals.  Many schools designate a PCSN parent liaison for the year, and some parents attend on their own.  To become a PCSN member, click here.  For a complete listing of PCSN activities, current announcements and project ideas, join our Facebook group:

  • Service and Smiles: Kindness Tips from Doing Good Together
DGT has a great FREE resource called Service and Smiles: Kindness Tips from Doing Good Together. You can subscribe on the Doing Good Together website (http://www.doinggoodtogether.org). When you do, each week throughout the school year you’ll get a fun tip to insert in the newsletter you send to families. Included are simple service project ideas, kindness practices and other tips that teach children about caring and compassion. Again, this is at no cost at all to you. If you have questions, you can contact Nassim at nassim@doinggoodtogether.org.
